Great First Day and Homework reminder.
We had a wonderful first day of school with the young men at the B.E.S.T. Academy. I was very proud of my 7th grade Team A and the behavior of the young men today. I am looking forward to a wonderful year. Many of the BEST scholars were eager to learn about Life Science, all of my students came prepared today with pencil, pen, and paper- I was very impressed-please keep that up boys.
If you continue with your excellent behavior we will have a wonderful year full of learning and hands-on science fun. Bring your BEST Attitude to get your BEST Results.
A Homework reminder: Come up with your own brain break to share with the class, remember to name your brain break so when we call it out in class we can recognize it. Remember the reasons we do brain breaks and how it helps our brain connect the right and left hemispheres.
Today in class we practiced 3 brain breaks: The Hook-up, The Windmill, and the Cross-over.
I am looking forward to another wonderful day at the B.E.S.T. Academy middle school tomorrow.

Welcome!
Welcome to 7th grade Life Science with Mrs. Edwards. I am so happy to be teaching here at the B.E.S.T Academy again this year. We are going to have a wonderful year full of hands-on fun science learning activities. Bring your best attitude and you will get your BEST results! On this Blog I will post our daily homework adventures, yes, I said adventures because each day you will be given a science puzzle, mystery, or adventure task for you to explore at home before the next day of school. These homework adventures will keep our daily classroom activities fresh in your mind and prepare you for our daily homework assessments. Feel free to bring me your ideas for our daily homework adventures, I know you are full of great ideas and I encourage you to share those with me. I look forward to a successful year with you all, full of learning about science, yourself, and how to push yourself to achieve beyond your wildest dreams! You are full of potential, seek it out and soar.
